June 26	VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION Since a winter storm led to the cancellation of this event last November, we're rescheduling! Open to anyone who volunteered for any aspect of Museum operation. Join us at the Dormitory Coffee House at 4:00pm for socializing and wine. BBQ supper provided by the Board of Directors at 5:00pm Please call the Museum at 403 728 0019 (leave a message) to let us know if you're coming.
July 1	CANADA DAY CELEBRATION  After the Parade in Spruce View, join us at the Museum for birthday cake and coffee.
July 11	ÆBLESKIVER  &  JAM For a small price, enjoy 'all-you-can-eat' æbleskiver. This delicious, traditional Danish 'round pancake' is often eaten with a generous helping of jam topped off with icing sugar. This year you can also enjoy an afternoon jam session featuring Central Alberta country and bluegrass musicians. Bring your instrument and join in! Regular hours

August 15	VIKING  DAY Join us at the museum for music, entertainment and great food as we celebrate the arrival of Canada's very first 'immigrants' . . . The Vikings! Special displays of Viking lifestyles and realistic Viking warriors engaged in battle! Regular hours
