Many members of the Danish Canadian fraternity have expressed an interest
in a mechanism to cherish the memories of loved ones. In 2007, thanks to the leadership and labour of Bendt and Jutta Husted,
a Memorial Wall to honor and memorialize Danish Canadian immigrants was constructed and dedicated. A garden area adjoins the
wall where it is warmed by the gentle rays of the sun within a secluded southern exposure for those who wish to sit for awhile
with their thoughts and their memories of their loved ones.
You can purchase an inscribed bronze plaque for your cherished family member for $250 with an annual $100
maintenance fee.
If you
prefer, a lump sum of $2500 will purchase the plaque and ensure maintenance for life.
